Who Are We?

 

 

 

Founded in 2021 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Nail and Impale is an Extreme Thrash 'N' Roll band that combines multiple genres, ranging from old-school rock 'n' roll, heavy metal, glam rock, death metal and metalcore—while maintaining a strong Bay Area-style thrash metal foundation.

Since 2021, the band has quickly made a name for itself in the local metal scene thanks to its fast, punchy performances and no-prisoners attitude.

After conquering many small and mid-sized venues in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, the band has become a household name in the local thrash scene. In May 2024, the band released its debut LP, Nailien Invasion, featuring 8 tracks that bring its unique approach to life by blending many styles.

Nonetheless, the album looks, feels and sounds like a thrash metal record, driven by the band's belief in a strong '80s thrash foundation.

The record's artwork was created by renowned comics artist Nahuel Amaya and the album tackles themes of aliens, sci-fi, environmental issues and pure party chaos—with a clear goal of making the crowd go wild and, of course, have lots of fun. Standout tracks include "Nowhere to Run", "R U Stpd?!", and "Alien Zombies from Outer Space".

The album also introduces the band's mascot for the very first time: Nailien, an evil, beer-drinking alien with a single purpose—conquering Earth. The mascot will continue to accompany the band in the future.

Following the release of the debut LP, the band also launched its own branded beer, Nail and Impale Ale, in collaboration with Tel Aviv's Schnitt Brewery.

Nail and Impale is currently preparing to record its sophomore album in mid-2026, which will include 11 tracks, and is expected to be released during late 2026.
